The things I carried

In every sense of the word, I've been trying to see better these past few weeks, got an eye exam (didn't get dilated, bullet dodged), purchased some new glasses, and started capturing images on film again. I've been feeling some movement taking place within me as of late, thanks to some reading and recent conversations, that has drawn me to new insights on the perspective of self, others, art, relationships, and scripture. In short, I feel I'm starting to become more observant. Today, for the first time in my life, I noticed everything I was carrying. Everything. I then began to mentally list all these things that were adding weight to my physical and emotional being. This soon gave me an idea. I decided to (as best I could) pictorially document my observation. Below is an image of all I carried today followed by a comprehensive list. I realize the possible contradiction this could be to a previous post.
